|Location||Isla Mujeres: 21.2350, -86.722, Gulf of Mexico|
This particular whale shark stayed floating at the surface for ~10 minutes at a time, and swam very slowly, even with several people around it. Other people on the expedition with me were stating that this whale shark appeared thin. Since this was only the second whale shark I had seen, I didn't really have anything to compare it to in order to make my own determination of its size.
